Raw Milk Still Getting Raw Deal

The Department of Agriculture wisely scratched their last draft of raw milk regulations, but they’re at it again. Even though public input and testimony should have made it clear last time we don’t want more regulations on raw milk, they didn’t listen, and we have to go through the whole process again.

Comments are due to the Department of Agriculture August 5 by 5:00pm CT, and you can find information on how to get your comments in to the Department with this document.

There will also be another hearing next Friday, July 26, at 9:00am CT. We only had about 12 people at the hearing last time – this time we need to pack the room and make sure the Department understands they can’t keep harassing small producers. Help us pack the room!
